One Good Man

It's good to see that the needless to say, extremely dangerous--not to mention illegal-- practice of holding a cell phone / texting is getting more and more media attention these days. This latest article tells the story of one dedicated Los Angeles police officer, Kamaron Sardar, who's hot on the trail of yakkers and texters, doing all he can to get the message across to even the densest individual that such a practice could very well end up being their last act.

Distracted Drivers, He's Just Got the Ticket For You

A followup story of the many varied and wild excuses he's come across, of which some are mentioned, would be entertaining to read, we're sure!

Keep up the great work, Officer Sardar! and on behalf of Alliance Defensive Driving School: Thank You Kindly!

  1. Wow..I was looking on several sites about this article that Steve Lopez wrote. I am Ofcr. Sardar with LAPD. I was so happy that Steve decided to do an article about this. I really hope people read it and dedicate themselves to not texting and talking (without a hands free).

Thanks for all the kind words and support!

  2. Hello Ofcr. Sardar!

You're very welcome! You're a true hero to us in helping to curb (or better yet, outright eliminate!) this insanity! Thankfully, there seems to be a momentum building in getting the message across of how dangerous it is to text, talk and drive. More and more formal studies are coming out verifying the impossibility of multitasking behind the wheel.

You're doing very important work, and we're glad you're getting recognized for it! Please let us know how your efforts are going, we'd love to hear from you again!

We wish you much continued success!

And thanks so much for your comment! It is truly appreciated!
